Reading time - 10 minutes

If you've considered using CBD oil for whatever reason, you've probably heard of vaping. Vaping CBD is one of the most effective ways to consume CBD and experience the health and wellness benefits.

Choosing to implement a new health and wellness product into your routine may make you wary, but we're here to answer some of the most pressing questions about CBD vape.

What is CBD?

CBD (Cannabidiol) is a compound in cannabis and hemp with therapeutic properties. CBD is extracted from hemp and cannabis and then processed into a variety of health and wellness products. Some people even process it into some food products.

While we extract CBD from hemp and cannabis, nothing about CBD is intoxicating like THC, which is the part of cannabis that makes you feel "high." CBD works by replicating naturally occurring endocannabinoids in the body.

Endocannabinoids affect our brain, nervous and immune systems. While it's not 100% understood how endocannabinoids affect our bodies, scientists believe they're essential to homeostasis.

People choose to use CBD for several reasons. Taking CBD may help people fall asleep, reduce stress, and aid in alleviating aches and pains. CBD health and wellness products include oils, lotions, and vapes, leaving something for everyone interested.

What is CBD Vape Juice?

When we talk about CBD vape juice, we're referring to any vape oil or liquid that contains CBD and not nicotine. This vape juice is inside the cartridge that you put into your vape pen.

As you browse for CBD vape juice, you'll notice that many have added flavours or scents to make them more appealing. Many manufacturers will create their vape juice by blending CBD with solvents.

Infused Amphora CBD vape oils are made with organic CBD and naturally flavoured with terpenes of peppermint, lemon, and more. They also contain no additives like vegetable glycerine (VG)  or propylene glycol (PG).

What is a CBD Vape Cartridge?

Simply put, a CBD vape cartridge is the container that holds your CBD vape juice or liquid. Depending on the product you buy and from where the amount within the cartridge may vary.

Infused Amphora CBD vape cartridges come prefilled with either 0.3 or 0.7 ml with the CBD oil of your choice. Each cartridge is a 510 thread cart that should fit in almost all vape devices.

With four effects-based CBD vape cartridges to choose from, there's something that will mesh well with nearly everyone's health and wellness goals.

How to Use CBD Oil in a Vape Pen

If you're wondering how to use CBD oil in a vape pen, it's pretty easy to vape CBD. Surprisingly, vaping CBD is one of the easier ways to take CBD. Since it's one of, if not the easiest, it's become one of the hottest wellness trends in the United Kingdom.

If you're new to vaping, figuring out where to begin can seem intimidating. There's quite a bit of equipment and things to learn about CBD in general.  While there are several pieces of equipment, it's not as intimidating as it may seem like to start vaping CBD.

Most vaporisers are composedof four parts that work together to transmit CBD to your body safely. The first part is the battery. The battery powers your vaping device. More often than not, nowadays, vape devices come with a rechargeable battery and cord that you can easily charge anywhere with a power source.

The second part is the atomiser. To put this in simpler terms, this is the heating device inside of your vape device. The atomiser speeds and heats the molecules inside the liquid that produces the vapour.

Then you have the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is where you'll put your mouth to inhale the CBD. This part is the pathway for the CBD vapour that travels into your mouth.

Finally, you have the chamber. The chamber is the part of the vape that holds your vaping material.

This is where you'll load your vaping cartridgee with your CBD vape juice or liquid into your vape device.

Once the CBD vape cartridge is loaded, you'll press a button to activate the substance. The atomiser heats the oil and turns it into a vapour which you inhale. Every vaping device is a little different, so you'll need to read the instructions on how to start and use your individual vaping device.

When you inhale the CBD, your body begins to absorb it and feel the positive effects.

If you're new to vaping CBD, you'll want to keep in mind that you need to be mindful of what you put into your vape pens or device. CBD oil is different from CBD vape oil.

For your convenience and safety, Infused Amphora CBD vape oil cartridges come pre-filled. The carts are one-time use only and should not be refilled.

Pre-filling the cartridges for your convenience eliminates many of the performance and damage issues that can arise from wrongly loading carts, including leaks and clogging of your vape pens.

Infused Amphora uses only two all-natural organic ingredients; 20% CBD distillate sourced from 100% organically grown hemp and added plant-sourced terpenes for maximum benefit from the entourage effect.

How to Vape CBD

Vaping CBD isn't as complicated as it sounds once you have everything you need. When you've got all the things you'll need, you'll need to put it together.

You'll need to put your CBD vape oil cartridge into your CBD vape pen or device. If your battery doesn't come charged, you'll need to charge the battery before vaping.

Once the battery is charged, you can turn the vape device on. You'll need to place the mouthpiece in your mouth and inhale slowly.

As you inhale, you'll draw vapour into your mouth. You'll want to hold the vapour in your mouth while your lips are closed for a few seconds before opening your mouth to bring the vapour into your lungs. Once the vapour hits your lungs, you'll exhale.

What Does CBD Vape do?

When it comes to what CBD can do, there aren't a lot of scientific studies verifying what it can and cannot do. Scientists and health professionals are studying CBD as a treatment for several conditions, from physical to mental.

In previous years, research on CBD was limited. To better understand what CBD can do for our bodies, more research needs to be done with human subjects to verify the claims that CBD users make.

People claim that CBD helps them with a variety of issues. From helping to reduce stress to aiding in sleep and even reducing pain, CBD seems to help in many areas.

Infused Amphora offers four different CBD vape oil that can help with most wellness goals. The peace CBD vape oil feels like a warm hug and may help to reduce any stress you have due to anxiety or other reasons.

The ZZZ CBD vape oil has hints of lemon that may help you fall asleep easier and stay asleep throughout the night. The INSPIRECBD oil may help you feel uplifted and give you a boost of creativity.

Lastly, the MEND CBD vape oil may help soothe and repair any inflammation in your body. While more research needs to be done to confirm these effects, many people report chronic pains feeling less severe when using CBD.

How Does CBD Vape Make You Feel?

CBD is a non-intoxicating substance that will make everyone feel different. Since CBD is non-intoxicating, you won't feel "high" as if you were to vape something with THC in it. People report feeling positive effects when vaping CBD.

These effects include feeling more calm or relaxed than normal, pain relief, and even feeling like they can fall asleep and stay asleep easier. How you feel after vaping CBD can be dependent on the type of CBD you choose. There are even some CBD vape cartridges that encourage your mind to focus and feel more awake.

How you'll feel after taking CBD will depend on several factors. Things to consider are, your intake method, dosage, and your individual characteristics such as age.

Since everyone who takes CBD may feel a little different based on how they take CBD, it is important to find a way to take CBD that makes you feel good and promotes your wellness goals.

As you venture on your CBD journey, keeping a CBD journal to log  how you feel and the dosage can help you optimise the benefits of CBD.

Is CBD Vape Safe?

There's a lot of controversy around whether vaping, in general, is safe or not, but vaping CBD is safe! CBD has no intoxicating properties, and even the CBD that does contain THC contains less than 0.2% of it to be legally compliant in the UK.

If you're still not convinced if vaping is safe, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that overall, CBD is "well-tolerated and safe for human consumption". Since CBD mimics compounds that our bodies naturally produce, they cannot find any evidence that it's addictive to humans.

While there haven't been many studies on the side effects of CBD oil, there have been some studies that when taken in larger quantities, CBD can have adverse effects on the liver.

While there are no official dosing suggestions, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) suggests taking a maximum of 70 mg of CBD per day for healthy adults. This maximum dosage may differ if under the direct guidance of a health professional.

Is Vaping CBD Legal?

CBD is 100% legal in the United Kingdom! Where things get tricky is if CBD had THC in it. CBD is legal in the UK, while THC is not. Some CBD will have trace amounts of CBD, but it's less than 0.2% if it does. Anything more than that may not be legal in the UK.

Is vaping legal? If you choose to vape CBD, it's important to remember vape etiquette. For those of you new to vaping, the most significant takeaways are to practice good manners in public social situations and to comply with any changing policy.

Proper vaping etiquette can mean following guidelines that allow or disallow vaping in private businesses, pubs, and restaurants.

How Much CBD to Vape

When it comes to dosages for CBD, there aren't any official guidelines. As you incorporate CBD into your routine, how much you should take will depend on several factors:

  • Your age
  • The concentration of CBD
  • Your height
  • Your weight
  • Your metabolism
  • Your gender
  • Your tolerance level
  • Your overall health
  • The medications you're currently taking

Hypothetically, if you and your best friend are of the same gender, same height, and weight, but they have a higher tolerance for CBD than you, they may need a higher dose to feel the same effects that you do.

So how do you know how much you should be taking? The best way to learn how much you should be taking is to start with a low dose and start slow.

As you begin incorporating CBD more into your daily life, you can begin to see how you feel, whether or not it's still working, and if you need to adjust the dosage. One of the best ways to keep track of how much you're taking and how it's affecting you is to keep a log.

Logging how much you're taking and how you're feeling can help you adjust the CBD dosage accordingly and get you to where you want to be in your wellness goals faster than playing the guessing game.

CBD is generally a very safe compound for people, but people have experienced adverse side effects in rare cases. Some of these rare side effects include dry mouth, fatigue, and diarrhoea.

These side effects aren't severe, but that's why until you learn more about your body, start with a low dose and work your way up as you need.

Choosing to use CBD for your health and wellness needs may seem intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. Vaping may seem like the most complicated way to introduce CBD to your routine, but once you learn a bit of it, it's a rather simple and very effective method.
